I have been honored to serve and represent our clients since 1978. I have not always specialized in providing financial solutions. My career began as a casualty agent with Farmers Insurance. My idea of specializing in a few areas rather than to be all things to all people did not bide well with this company. Fortunately before I retired from that company, I worked for many years specializing in health plans.

It was a great fit as I had worked for 2 hospitals in medical records and understood medical terminology.

As the move toward technology, on-line enrollment, and the decline of Small business took place, I knew that it was time to take a departure from that specialty. In the early 90’s, I became a financial advisor, however, what I found was that I preferred to work on the safe money side of financial planning. I had always delivered good news to clients and just did not like the role of advising clients when their values fell, as in the market correction of 2000. I joined groups that work primarily with retirees and those entering retirement.

The old philosophy of buy and hold strategies, asset allocation, or placing a large portion of income in the hottest stock out there do not work well for those entering into retirement. I help my clients decide how much risk they wish to take. I specialize in the Safe Money side of investing.

In my career, I have participated proudly with my professional association, The National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors. I have worked as their local President and National Committee Chairperson for several years. I believe that it is very important to seek out the best in the business if you wish to be the Best, yourself.
